The Absence planning module was primarily designed to meet the needs of Early Childhood Centers (ECC). Although it is specifically adapted to this sector, it could also be useful in other sectors.
This module facilitates absence management by allowing users to check the availability of employees or substitutes before declaring an absence.

The objective of this module is to ensure that resources are available before confirming an absence. This feature allows for better management of replacements and guarantees continuous service.
- The module is accessible from the left menu of your screen by clicking on Absence planning;
- ertain fields, such as the Establishment, Employee, Job, and Specialty, are automatically filled based on your information. You can modify these fields if necessary, except for the Employee field, which remains fixed. Only administrative support staff can change the name of the employee potentially being replaced;
- You can also specify the Target clientele, if desired;
- The Population field allows you to specify whether you want to see the availability of substitutes, employees, or both. If you leave this field empty or select both options, you will get an overview of all available candidate;
- At the bottom of the page, the calendar displays the number of available candidates for the upcoming days based on your search criteria;
- The boxes without the circle indicate that no resource is available, unlike the boxes with the small circle, or that it is a date prior to the current day;
- By clicking on a specific date, you can view the availability hours of these candidates. As soon as a candidate has at least 60 minutes of free time, they will appear in the list;
- Two views are available to display availabilities. You can switch between these views by clicking on the designated buttons.
