Substitute - What is Pre-acceptance?

Modified on Tue, 4 Feb at 9:54 AM

Pre-acceptance is a feature that allows you to indicate your interest in an offer before it is officially send to you. This process optimizes the distribution of substitute assignments while respecting collective agreements and the internal policies of your educational establishment.

How Pre-acceptance works

Remplacement offers are sent automatically based on the call order and the criteria established by your organization. The system sends them sequentially to avoid contacting all available substitutes at the same time.

With pre-acceptance, you can preview offers that may be sent to you, even if they are not yet active in your calendar. For example:

  • If an offer is scheduled to be sent to you at 4:50 PM tomorrow, you can view it now. You can also pre-accept it, ensuring that at 4:50 PM tomorrow, if no one has accepted the offer, it will be automatically assigned to you.
  • By clicking the Pre-accept button, you indicate that you are ready to accept the offer if it is still available at the scheduled time.

Caution, pre-accepting a remplacement offer does not mean you have been assigned the remplacement. To secure the assignment, you must wait to receive the confirmation email and see the request marked as Accepted in Scolago.

Two methods are available to pre-accept an remplacement offer:
