As an employee, there may be times when you need to cancel a leave request or just the replacement request.

- Access the Absences module;
- Open the request details by clicking the pencil icon at the end of the row corresponding to the request in question;
- In the request form, click the Cancel absence button located at the top left.
Caution, if your absence was linked to a replacement request, it will be canceled at the same time. The selected substitute will be notified of the cancellation.
However, depending on your organization's configurations, you have a time limit before the start of the replacement to cancel it if a substitute has agreed to replace you. In general, you cannot cancel your absence within 60 minutes before the replacement begins. After that, you will need to contact the administration of your establishment. If no substitute has agreed to replace you, you can cancel your absence request at any time.

If you wish to cancel a replacement request while keeping your absence request, follow these steps:
- Access the Replacements module and open the corresponding replacement request using the pencil icon;
- Scroll to the bottom of the form and click the Cancel button, select Cancel replacement only , and confirm your choice;
- The replacement status will change from Accepted to Canceled by requester;
- The substitute who accepted the request will be notified of the cancellation, and your absence request will remain unchanged.
Caution, if the replacement has already been accepted by a substitute, a time limit may apply depending on your organization’s settings. For example, if your establishment imposes a 60-minute limit before the replacement starts, it will not be possible to cancel the replacement request. You will then need to contact your establishment.
