In some situations, it may be necessary to adjust the time of mandatory training assigned to an employee. This adaptive function allows to take into account specific contexts and guarantees that the employees respect the training obligations while taking into account personal or professional constraints.
Here is how to personalize this setting while respecting the global configuration of the organization.
- Go to the Trainings module, under the Portfolio section;
- Click on the Employee Management tab;
- The list of your employees will appear;
- Identify the employee whose training time you wish to modify and click on the eye icon to access their form.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page;
- In the Exemption section, adjust the number of mandatory training hours to be reduced;
EXAMPLE: A teacher has a 30-hour training obligation, automatically defined according to their employment group in the Training Periods module. She goes on maternity leave and will not be able to complete her training hours. On your side, you can adjust the mandatory training time by entering 10 hours in the Exemption field, which will reduce her obligation to 20 hours.
- You can also indicate the reason for the modification in the dedicated Notes field (for example: Maternity leave).
