All - I can't use my two-factor authentication app at the moment.

Modified on Mon, 14 Jul at 9:44 AM

If you are trying to access your Scolago account but cannot use your two-factor authentication (2FA) app, it is possible to reconfigure your authentication directly from the platform.

If you are looking to know how to add two-factor authentication to your login, please refer instead to this article: All - How does two-factor authentication work?

To resolve your inability to log in, click on the Reconfigure two factor authentication button that appears when you are on the screen to enter your two-factor authentication (2FA) code.

A page will appear with the following steps:

  1. Check if you already have a two-factor authentication app, such as Microsoft Authenticator for Android and iOS or Google Authenticator for Android and iOS, installed on your phone and configured with your Scolago account credentials. If so, the app will provide you with a 6-digit code that you can enter at the previous step;
  2. If you do not have a two-factor authentication app or have lost your credentials, you can send a temporary 6-digit code to your phone +1 (XXX) XXX-XX90.

If that is the case and you want to select this second option, please choose one of the following methods:

  • Send the code by text message;

  • Send the code by automated phone call.

Once you receive the code, enter it in the appropriate boxes and click on Confirm.

Once the code is entered, a pop-up will appear saying “You're almost there!” You will then simply need to follow the final steps to complete the setup. Click on OK to continue.

The page to add two-factor authentication will appear automatically. At this step, you may skip the configuration and simply click on the Home module to start navigating the platform.

After several attempts, if you still do not receive the temporary code by text message or automated phone call, or if the temporary code does not work, contact the support team at support@scolago.com or by clicking the Submit a ticket button at the top of this page.
