In certain situations, it is possible to declare an absence using the hours accumulated in your time bank. Here is the procedure to follow depending on your situation.
From the Absence module, click on New absence. Select the establishment and job concerned, if these fields are not already pre-filled. Two scenarios are then possible:
- Your time bank covers the entire duration of your absence
- Your time bank does not fully cover the hours of your absence

Leave the toggle More than one absence justification inactive.

In the Justification field, select the absence justification that allows the use of banked time.
The exact name of this justification may vary depending on the organization. If needed, we suggest contacting your Scolago administrator: their contact information is in the platform's Help module.
You will see appear two new fields:
- Number of minutes to debit from my accumulated time bank : Next to your absence period, the system displays the number of minutes that this period will deduct from your time bank. By default, this number equals the number of minutes between the start and end of this period. If you need to modify this number of minutes, follow the steps below:

- Click on the pencil icon;
- Correct the number of minutes to be debited;
- Click the diskette icon that replaces the pencil icon.
- Number of minutes to debit from my accumulated time bank per period : This field informs you of your time bank's parameters — namely the start and end dates, as well as the total number of minutes available in your bank before the deduction for the absence you are currently declaring.

Select your manager, fill in the rest of the form, then click Continue.

On the replacement request, indicate your replacement needs, then click Submit.
